Character Development was on point. Especially for Astrid. The change of setting (LT and PB) made the book more fresh. Glimpses from the outside world — that was good, too.
And, of course, everything else was what I expected for the Gone series: a moving plot, a shocking twist, and new elements to create a different gist from the other books.
But, well, of course the writing style had been the same — only the elements changed. There’s a problem, they try to solve it, yet cause a new problem for the next book. It’s the same thing. So I guess there was nothing striking? (Except for the ending, though). Still, a good read.
